At Detroit River Sports we offer a unique way to explore the Motor City
We specialize in offering kayak and stand up paddle board tours of the canals of Jefferson Chalmers, the Detroit River and nearby islands.
We are open from May through October, offering guided tours every weekend and most weekdays. Our public tours are a great setting for small groups or individuals to paddle, see Detroit, learn some history and meet new people. We also offer lessons and host events.
For those looking for a more intimate experience, we offer private tours for groups of family, friends or coworkers. We are available for private events every day of the week during our season.
In addition we have an on-site retail space and online store where we offer a selections of kayaks, SUPs, paddles, PFDs, gear and accessories, apparel, used items and more. We offer shipping and delivery on select items. We are also available for repairs.
