Overview:
On this tour we will depart from Detroit River Sports around dusk and return after dark, spending time in the canals as well as on the Detroit River, exploring Greyhaven Island. All boats are lit up with safety lights and colorful string lights to set the campfire storytelling mood. You will hear of indigenous legends and folklore, tales of tragedy and misfortune, a curse, a haunting or two and some spooky Detroit staples. On the coldest nights a bonfire may be waiting for guests to warm up by upon return.
Weight Limit:
250 lbs. per passenger
Requirements:
Children under the age of 12 must be in a tandem kayak with an adult. All participants must wear a Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD) while on a Detroit River Sports Tour (we provide them, don’t worry!), this is for your safety and the safety of our staff.
